Skin cancer/ melanoma
Hello,
I am so afraid I have melanoma.. I have a doctors appointment after new years, but would like some answers before that. I have been looking on sites for skin cancer and they all say the same. If the mole has the ABCDE warning signs it is cancer.. I have two moles that have most of these warning signs, but is there no way these moles can be benign? If someone out there can help me on these questions I would be so grateful! |

RE: Skin cancer/ melanoma
Hi,
It is always best to seek to the advice of a professional rather than speculating and worrying. In this instance you should see a dermatologist for diagnosis. Good luck! |

RE: Skin cancer/ melanoma
Everyone is at some risk for melanoma, but increased risk depends on some factors as sun exposure, number of moles on the skin, skin type and family history .Moles, brown spots and growths on the skin are usually harmless — but not always. as i know Anyone who has more than 100 moles is at greater risk for melanoma. The first signs can appear in one or more atypical moles. That's why it's so important to get to know your skin very well and to recognize any changes in the moles on your body. if you see one or more, You should make an appointment with a physician immediately.
