Curcumin
We have been doing research into this amazing herb and have discovered that it can cure and prevent some cancers among many other health problems. For Multiple Myeloma, it has had surprising results! Our Dr encourages us to proceed with the use of it. There have been trials in USA and Australia and the results of those trials have been extremely rewarding! http://www.curcuminresearch.org/ It is very expensive to buy here, $40 for 60 500mg capsules, and the daily dose we are using is 4g (8capsules) it is adding up! I have looked into acquiring some in powder form from Sabinsa who is a main wholesale distributor and was informed I can purchase 5 kg package of curcumin (approx 4yr supply @ $158/yr.) This is far more than we need, obviously, and are looking to find a group of people who would be interested in getting together to buy it.

RE: Curcumin
We have ordered the curcumin from Sabinsa and it should be here in the next few days. If anyone is interested in giving this a go, please let me know using the Private Messages on this site. We ordered our supply of Bioperine from Source Naturals website and it arrived in a week.
Here is a wonderful Blogsite by Margaret, who has had Smoldering Multiple Myeloma for several years and keeps it at bay by using curcumin: http://margaret.healthblogs.org/ My fiance has Multiple Myeloma. |

We have received our order of 5kg curcumin. If anyone is interested in purchasing some, we are selling it at cost. Cancer is bad enough to have without being charged outrageous prices at the health stores!

Great News! Stephen went to the Drs for the blood test results! His paraprotein level has dropped from 21 down to 18! Dr thinks its because of the curcumin/bioperine daily! We will see what next month's results are.

RE: Curcumin
I have been using Curcumin is couple of the week, Its great. For Our health benefits of curcumin that have been seen in laboratory animals can be duplicated in people and if people start taking it,It has to create antioxidants that naturally occur in plants, because antioxidants scavenge free radicals. Free radical damage, within the cells, causes mutations that can lead to cancer.

RE: Curcumin
Sorry, but your train of thought needs some clarity; very difficult to follow!

RE: Curcumin
Curcumin is better absorbed with black pepper (biomass) and preferably with a little fat. I usually tighten the capsule and put curcumin and biomass in a spoon, put the extra virgin olive oil and mix into the batter before swallowing the best way to get absorbed.

RE: Curcumin
Hi Johnderby,
If you are using piperine, you don't need the oil. The piperine makes the curcumin 2000x better absorbed (bioavailable) than by using the oil. The oil gets the curcumin to go into the cells instead of just passing through the digestive tract. Piperine gets the cells to absorb the curcumin much easier. We use the powder form and mix it into the dinner food on the plate. ~Cindy~ My fiance has Multiple Myeloma. |
